Happy Labor day! I hope you are enjoying the long weekend and catching up on naps and having an amazing time with family and friends. I may be 27 years old, but naps will always sound like a fabulous idea to me. Ok, naps and snacks, can I get an amen?! Also if you are reading this on your holiday, thanks for stopping by the blog. I loved photographing this freaking gorgeous girl and she is literally so much fun to hang out with! Be sure and watch the fun little slideshow I put together as well!
Each year the town of Raleigh plants a huge five acre field of sunflowers and this year we were so lucky that it got moved to the Dorothea Dix Park. The field was so pretty and breathtaking and the perfect place for Abby's Senior shoot! Also I would like to talk about how brave this girl is! The field was swarming with bees, this Abby is the real deal because the bees didn't even phase her! Usually I am not nervous about bugs or insects but in the end it was worth it! Our amazing beauty team gave Abby a soft summer glow and some waves to match.
Before Abby's shoot we met to plan and go over outfits and I love how each outfit really help tell the story of who Abby is! I wanted to put her fun and outgoing personality on display. We also got to shoot just outside of a fun diner in Cary and I wanted to incorporate the sporty and athletic side of her too! We had the most amazing light and I just love how all these shots came out.
